This course is designed to complement firefighter Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) training, equipping chief officers with the advanced skills needed to lead a RIT response. The RIT Chief course combines classroom instruction, firefighter fatality case studies, command exercises, and hands-on scenario-based training, all centered around a firefighter MAYDAY situation. Students will develop and refine their skills under live fire conditions, testing their abilities both mentally and physically.

Unlike traditional courses, this program immerses officers in command operations within the fire suppression environment, preparing them for the most challenging situations they may encounter.
